The first few pounds will be water. You should measure yourself to see your advances. If you're losing weight and not eating proteins, you can bet you're losing muscle. If you're not losing weight but losing inches, that's the fat going down the drain and the muscle building up. That's why a balanced program is so very important. Godloveya.

If you are drinking 6-8 8 oz glasses of water a day along with a healthy diet you are losing fat provided you have weight to lose. other wise only 1-2 pound would only be water weight. IF you are under weight and doing s starvation diet then you are losing muscle. a body needs protein for fuel and when it does not get it it break down it's own which is the muscle and the first one it starts on is the heart. That's why people with eating disorders die, and why vegetarian have to be very careful they get protein in their diet.

Water will not stay off long. Fat stays off when you continue to diet. If its muscle you will notice your arms and legs getting smaller. It shouldnt be muscle if you are doing it right.
Ignore (and report Bobby J who is using you question to advertise a very dodgy product!)
