It appeared when I first started taking the birth pill and now, 35 years later, it's still there and I hate it. I have to wear a size 40 bra (just for my back) and size 18 tops. Can anyone recommend a diet or exercise to rid me of this weight please? I am a little overweight but not obese and apart from my back, I'm happy with my body shape.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Stop making excuses and get yourself down the gym and they will tell you the best exercises for targetting that area.. do that with a sensible diet although really all you need to do is eat the same as you are at the moment and absolutely no snacking between meals, oh and drink lots of water.. i hated that bit but it really works.. good luck

Just try doing some gentle sit ups and push ups. Some muscle stretches will enable you to turn the fat to muscle - but not weightlifter style, a more lean and slender muscle to enable you to fit into smaller tops. Cutting down on pies will also help.

You know, this can be caused by PCOS. Perhaps you could talk to your regular doctor or your gyn about the possibility.
