U Should Invite Him Ova Your House 1st N Chill Wit Him Let Him Been Your Parents N Stuff. Then If U Feel Comfortable Around Him Go Hang Out Wit Him. N If U Dont Feel N~E~Better N U Still Want 2 Go Hang Out Wit Him Wit The Thought Of Him Rape'n U At Lease Your Parents Met Him And If N~E~Thing Happens They No Who Did It. It is always nice to have friends, so if you do go out with this guy, why don't you go out with a few friends, never be by yourself. And tell him, that, at this point in your life, you only want to be friends, because right now, you are concentrating on school. All of that other stuff, has to wait. Let him know up front, you are not that type of girl! So have some fun!

firstly, U HAVE to know his reputation...i mean does he became famous of his bad-boy attitude or what???
In my experience, most of guys calling ladies (well, freshman like u...) with 'baby' just to make himself famous and be haunted by hundred of girls...so carefull with this kind of man...
But, if you think that he's good enough to try...the go for it, if you still didn't believe him...ask your friend for help...(to keep on eyes on you or somethings to make you feel safe...) And please don't choose a risky place for your first date if you didn't wanna regret it later...
