could be diabetes. I know that mood swing and thirst are symptom of it. my grandmother had it. go to a doctor to be checked.
Some diabetes symptoms include:
Excessive thirst
Frequent urination
Extreme hunger
Unusual weight loss
Increased fatigue
Confusion
Irritability
Blurry vision
you can put diabetes in the search bar and find out more symptoms for it and what you can do about it.
even if its not diabetes it sounds as though you still need to see a doctor.

Yea, that does sound like diabetes, because with diabetes comes thirstiness. Also, because there is a hormonal imbalance with diabetes, that could explain the sour mood. I would go to an endocrinologist or your regular physician and get it looked at.
Good Luck, and God Bless

Diabetes will make you really thirsty. I'm not sure about the crotchity-ness. Maybe you are depressed or have a hormonal imbalance or thyroid problem? Have you begun or stopped any medications lately? Without more details it would be very hard to give a good explanation.

Sounds like old ghosts are visiting ! Post traumatic stress syndrome. STRESS !! First go to Dr. for physical then if you are ok. You may want to seek counseling next. When old memories are suppressed (mostly bad ones or bad experiences). Most of us have what you call denial (God's shock absorber) frozen memories that won't thaw out till we are emotionally ready to deal with them..looks like they may be THAWING OUT ! God Bless you, please get some help.

It sounds like you could have a high glucose level at the moment. Maybe getting a blood test would be in your best interest.
