highly doubtful the dog will die. people can eat gophers and rats (tastes like chicken), so why can your dog not eat the same things?

Lol, he is fine. Both my dogs have caught at least 5 gophers. Although they were never able to catch any until they turned 3 and 4 (My female one is 4 now, an my male one is 5-6 we adopted the male one and not even they know his true age they just guessed because they found him wandering the streets starving.)

Unless the animal he is eating was poisoned, the dog should be fine.

You'd know by now if the rodent had been poisoned.
Your dog will be fine.

He will probably be fine, just watch him to make sure he doesn't get sick. If he does get sick, take him to the vet. Good luck!
