Do Guys really pay woman to marry them?

Could someone be that lonley to pay a woman from another country money to marry them?How many men on here have paid for a bride or will pay for a bride?

Often the thought amongst these guys is "hey these women from a different culture highly value marriage and rarely divorce." Reality is a lot of these women just want to escape their situation/country.

Once they have a child they become increasingly difficult which leads to divorce-and freedom (besides American Citizenship.) The guy (if he is a family man) get's totally raped since these women usually use the children as blackmail for more $.

These women know American Divorce laws better than American women! They tell the most outrageous lies to get American women on their side. After borrowing lots of money, they disappear and/or never repay the women back loans.

Then they find another guy and do the same thing over again. I'm not talking about the good women.

I think it's more than a matter of loneliness. Too many of these men that pay for their brides do it out lust and selfishness. They have the opportunity and the means and unfortunately there is a market for "mail order brides" in many of the less fortunate countries around the world. Russia is a big supplier of mail order brides. I watched a documentary on it recently, the men literally pick their "wife" from a catalog. A real man looking for love and companionship would know that thumbing through pages of women is no way to go about finding true love. It's a new fashioned way to prey upon women and it sickens me.

In western countrys mail order brides is a new phenomena, but in the Middle east men pay a huge sum to the girls parents , thus those who can not afford end up marrieng Fillipino or Indians or some other countries. But in the Sub continent [ India Pakistan etc etc ] girls pay a hefty sum of money called "dhahej" [ dowry] to the boy ! though its criminal to take dowry, still those brides who have outstanding debts still "burn" even after many years of marriage.

Yes, overwhelmingly white, American men. They may not necessarily pay the woman, but they will pay her expenses to move, and give her family money and promised support for a period of time for her hand in marriage. Happens all the time, otherwise these sites and magazines for mail order brides wouldn't be making money hand over fist.

Yeah, they do. I live in China and work for an International Marriage Agency. 80% of the men are over 50 years old and 60% of them always want to find the 25 year old girl. In return, he gives her money and security she needs and he gets his "mojo" and the young, sexy girl he desires........
