I need software to translate 1000's of articles?

I'm looking for a piece of software which will translate thousands of german articles to at least english and prefferably more languages, I know this is machine translation and not perfect. I'm also not shy of paying for software like this, but preferably under 400$.

Use http://www.thismeansthis.com translates most language for free.

If it is on a website Yahoo and Google toolbars have a translate feature for nominal fee of nothing.
