I could live off their salsa and chips. How do I get or do you know the exact recipe for their salsa.

Please do not say the store bought El Torito Label Brand that isn't even close to what they put on the table. Thx

El Torito's Salsa

Servings: 4 servings

2 cups (¼-inch) diced tomatoes
½ cup (¼-inch) diced onions
1 to 2 tablespoons finely diced jalapeños
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon lime juice
½ teaspoon Mexican dried leaf oregano
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup finely chopped cilantro

Combine tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, oil, vinegar, lime juice, oregano, salt and cilantro in large stainless steel mixing bowl. Taste and add additional salt if desired.

uhhh.. ok...! I have never found a store bought salsa that is worth eating unless you are desparate for salsa. The salsa is probably similar to what they serve in the restraunt except for preservatives. You may get the same ...texture...by adding lemon juice, salt or oil to preserve a good home made recipe, then just wait until it is not exactly fresh, then it should taste like you want. Read the ingedients, and add them to your basic home made salsa to get the flavors they use. Some add corn, roasted peppers, bell peppers, onions, cilantro, etc. just add the el torito ingredients. I have never been to the restraunt, but I have tried the store bought. once.
