It sounds cool, but I would go to a professional so you don't accidentaly screw it up and damage your hair any further.

Like you, I am constantly changing my hair color. The best thing is to have a professional do this for you. You will spend twice as much having your hair color corrected after you do it yourself! They can pick out chuncks of your hair and use a color lifter and then put the color of your choice back on these strands. I would advise a color gloss to be applied after your highlights are done. This coats the hair and gives it strength and amazing shine.

When I did my hair black (which was a horrible choice for me) I couldn't get it out! I tried everything! You may need to bleach it first to lift the color and then put highlights. Bleach is very scary though. I would just go get it done professionally.

You can try to dye it yourself and if it works, more power to you. Good luck!

A friend of mine had natural black hair and, like you, got bored with it. She put in some lowlights of scarlet, not too many and not too thick, and it looked amazing. Nowadays there are some wicked colours available so I would advise you to have fun.

Oh, and don't forget, use lots of conditioner to retain glossy hair.

do you have properly water on your domicile? if so, it relatively is depositing rust on your hair. I used to have that difficulty. people concept that I dyed a pink streak down the lower back of my head (it replaced into the 80's..childrens did stuff like that on purpose) in spite of the undeniable fact that it replaced into from status interior the bathe and the water working down the lower back of my head. If this is the undertaking, getting a "malibu therapy" (salons grant them and you will possibly be able to do them at domicile besides) and which will take the rust out.

you should use hair perioxide treatment it bleaches your hair slightly and you can choose how light you want it by controlling the time that you keep the solition in. then after doing this you will find that the colours you want will show up as they will be on lighter hair :) hope that helps

i have naturally black-brown hair and i found that feria hair dye works very well. the color comes out all right. not very vibrant, but the color is seen. if you want very vibrant color, then maybe you can have it bleached, but this might damage your hair way too much already
