No, you're not fat. Exercise and just eating healthy is better than any diet.

You are moving into an age range where controlling your weight will be nearly impossible. You will have growth spurts and then stop growing for a bit and then start growing again. and sometimes your height and weight won't seem 'perfectly' in synch.
You've got to accept that as a fact of life, because there isn't a thing you can do about it. And in fact, you probably shouldn't even try to control it too much. Your body will know what it needs and it may try to store up a bit of fat to help 'pay' for a growth spurt coming up.
My suggestion is to eat healthy and in normal amounts. If you are concerned about your weight, try to cut back on fried foods and soda but otherwise eat to your level of satisfaction. Also, get some decent amount of exercise.
I recommend that young girls (and guys too!) learn Tae kwon do. It's a lot of fun, it's GREAT exercise, AND it will give you some confidence and basic self defense skills. And those are all things a girl your age needs. but there are other ways to get the exercise you need if that doesn't suit you.
What you want to do is have a healthy attractive appearance once your body settles in to its full adult form; and at this point you should be doing those things that will help with that.

NO. I know someone who is 13 years old, 5'3", and 102 pounds. She is very pretty and oh-so-skinny. You are older and just as tall and WEIGH LESS. the girl is 75% taller than the rest of the population her age (it was calculated in a recent checkup) and her weight-to-age/height ratio is above normal (very very good). You have an even better weight-to-age/height ratio and you think you are fat? no way. and she doesn't think she is fat ONE LITTLE BIT. If you think you are fat, you have a major problem. You do NOT need a diet. Don't become anorexic or anything, because it will only lead to BAD situations. The girl is athletic and skinny skinny skinny! The average weight of a girl her age is way above her level.

You're heading into an adolescent stage. You will grow a little while putting on weight the older you get. Try balancing eating properly and nutritionally, while participating in activities 60 minutes a day. You will start feeling more energetic, feeling more self-esteem, and probably be more positive. Try making daily goals and push for long range ones as well.

You are not overweight. Back when my daughter was your age she was taller than me and weighed about he same as I and I had to talk to her doctor at a regular checkup about growth weight and youth. He said that at your age you are growing and you have to have something on those bones to support that growth. The Body Mass Index (BMI) is something that only adults show put time into studying and achieving. As long as you still have hormones and growth appropriate to your age of youth in growth, you should not try to lose weight. You should only keep active and make smart choices in what you choose to eat. If you were overweight, you would feel the health effects of it and not just question the number on the scale. Please keep eating sweetie. Love yourself a little.

No, you are UNDERWEIGHT, no over. I used a BMI (body mass index) calculator and entered in your height, weight and age. You have a BMI of 17.4. Anything under 18.5 is considered underweight. You fall under that catagory.
