well my dog is a pomapoodle (pomeranian poodle) thats 5 1/2 months old and i live in an apartment with a pretty big balcony and when i leave i can't leave him inside cuz he destroys everything! my couch for example was destroyed completely in 2 hours which is crazy (but he is still a pup so i understand!!) but the problem is i wanna prevent this behavior by leaving him on the balcony but he barks so damn much my neighbor has already complanied 7 times! i dont know what to do i feel so sorry for my dog (seeing him looking at the balcony door with his cute little eyes!!) but the same time I aint got the money to buy new couches every week and he's gotta learn to be by himself without barking cuz now that I leave him inside my apartment he barks and scratches on the front door right when i get out! is this one of those things pups have and it passes as they grow???????? cuz i know the biting thing is (cuz their changin teeth and all)

I use a box looking like device by pet safe. When my lab barks the box makes this loud pitch noise that animals can only hear, and it stops my dog from barking. I live in apartment too and had complaints from neighbors about my dog barking on the balcony. After we got this device he stop barking.

Sometimes dogs just feel threatened by the demeanors of people, people usually don't realize that they're doing it. Just have your dad try and have the dog do things like 'sit', 'down', etc. It will let the dog know who has higher ranking. Pry the best thing your dad could do is take the dog for a long walk, that they will both really enjoy, the dog would have to eventually stop barking. He'll get tired ;) And again, this will show the dog who is dominant. Hope this helps!

I would say confine him in a room like the bathroom during the day while you are gone. Put his food in there and whatever method he uses to go to the bathroom since hes obviously an indoor dog. Yes, dogs grow out of that stuff once they get older keep in mind he is still a puppy.

Get an obedience trainer.
IT WORKS. . .
I have done this with 3 different dogs, It is totally worth the money.
(the collars do work also and do not hurt the animal - look them up the the web)
good luck

solutions: pup training school + taking him to walk everyday at least once a day preferably in the morning. He needs exercises instead of destroying your furniture and barking.to release his stress and energy. Pomapoodle in his age is like a little kid full of energy! Give him lots of toys that he can chew too.

Whenever he barks take a spray bottle, put it on direct, and spray him. To him it is the same as being peed on! If that doesn't work, I don't know what you should do, but it worked with my dog! And it is inexpensive!

Get a muzzle...or you will be out on the street.
People work hard and do not take kindly to little yappers.
