My dog has a runny nose and is sneezing, does this mean he has a cold?

Definitely dogs are exposed to the same diseases we are, and when you see a dog like this, imagine how he feels, just the same as when we have a bad cold, take care of him..☺

This don't necessarily mean the dogs has a cold it could be allergies. Or something just got in their nose. If a dog has a cold most of the time the stuff coming out of there nose will be thick and gooey, and they will get eye boogers. And if there nose is dry and cracked it usually mean they don't feel good. A healthy dog has a cold wet nose.

Yes dogs get colds just like a human and the best thing to do for him is to begin treating him just like you would a child.Give your pet some robertussin about 1/3 of a cc ,or 3 little marks on a 3cc syringe every 4 to 6 hours,then place your pet in a small room and put a baby bottle warmer in with him/her with a medicated vapor steam solution,this will keep it from getting any resperatory conjestion.If you don't have a bottle warmer,just place water in a poperie pot and put candle under it to keep the water warm,place the medicaticated solution in the little pot so the pet can breath the steam.Do this until your pet gets better.Hope this helps

healthy dogs normally have wet noses and occasional sneezing is normal.if both these symptoms get worse it could have a cold.dogs also get coughs.short nosed dogs(boxers) are generally more susceptable to colds.

Ya he probably does have a little cold, keep an eye on him if it gets worse take him to the vet.

kennel cough is just a cough in technical terms... and if it was in a kennel its kennel cough !!!! oh god ... anyhoo yes your dog has a cold ... get childrens cough surop it wont hurt to give your dog as directed.

Has your dog been in a kennel lately? He may have kennel cough.
Or he may have allergies, dog do get colds.
