I have a friend who is a guy and his eyelashes are really black, and it looks like he is wearing mascara. People have been making fun of him since 3rd grade. He isn't goth or emo, he is just stuck with them. Is there any way to dye them brownish or something that looks more natural?

Yes, you can dye your eyelashes but you need to see a PROFESSIONAL hairstylist. The product used is called Permalash, but it is not available for sale to non-professional hairstylists.
Dyeing your eyelashes with ANYTHING other than dye designed SPECIFICALLY for eyelashes will result in blindness because traditional haircolor contains 20% hydrogen perioxide.

Yes, it's possible, but it's not recommended. Women get their eyebrows dyed and they really shouldn't do that. It can hurt your eyes and it may even cause the person to go blind. Only a professional such as a cosmetician/esthetician can do this process to the eyebrows or eyelashes since they are trained in that. I recommend you go to my source link.

He should simply leave his eyelashes alone. You cant dye eyelashes because they are too short and you would get the dye in your eyes and probably become blind. Bad idea, right?
Don't try dyeing your lashes.

Personally I wouldn't recommend it. Attempting to dye one's eye lashes may result in possible blindness if you should get any dye into your eye. He had best get used to have black lashes and learn to accept and love himself regardless of what other's may think of him or say.
I would think his preservation of his eye sight is much more important than dying his eye lashes.

My husband has really dark and curly eyelashes and I love it. No, You can't dye them, he will go blind!!!! Seriously! maybe some light blonde colored mascara????

of course it is. i have mine done regularly. It last about 6 weeks and will need redoing because of natural loss of lashes. it takes about 10 mins and does not hurt or do any long term damage.

He shouldn't worry about what people think. You're very kind to care so much about him, but everyone has their flaws and must adapt to them. Everyone has something to be made fun of, but that's life. He has to let it not bother him and move on.

i don't think so lol.Maybe with a mascara brush u clean it out,put dye on it,and put it on,I DON'T KNOW?!

i've heard of it but you do know that your eyelashes come out almost every day so it wouldn't last long. i'd love to have dark lashes.
