You probably have a windows based system and should get a mac, or try trashing a few programs and reinstalling them. I think norton utilities, firewall and a few of them type programs need to be uninstalled and reinstalled sometmes to get rid of that prob.. I know firewall for sure

You are probably infected with spyware. You can buy a professional program like Webroot Spysweeper or PC Tools Spyware doctor (about $30 USD) that will clean up your computer.

You can try running a free scan like at trend micro here

http://www.trendmicro.com/spyware-scan/

or downloading Adaware SE Personal Edition

see http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10399602.html?tag=lst-0-1

and spybot search and destroy

http://www.safer-networking.org

Microsoft also has a free anti-spyware tool for Windows 2000 or later called Windows Defender (but you need a legal copy to use it)

See http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=435bfce7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-f7f14e605a0d&displaylang=en

but they aren't as good as buying a commercial product or taking it to a local tech to clean it off.
