To Protect India from Corrupt politicians you need to do the following:
1. All educated cast your vote ( without fail) against corrupt politicians
2. Educate the general mass to identify corrupt politicians and vote against them
3. Fight corruption and do not cooperate with any corrupt practise which you come in contact with.It is our own flow and contribution to corrupt practices that the politician capitalize.

In the first place, Indians never looked at or aren't looking at others - particularly the Americans to come and protect them.
It's true that there are going to be some hiccups if you're the largest democracy on planet Earth. And India knows how to make progress, although a bit slowly and survive inspite of all the problems, the corrupt politicians including. It's better to be less polarised and make progress at a comfortable pace rather than racing and preaching others to do so.

You can boycot the poll. The Election Commission has introduced a new clause. But, even if you want to boycot the election, you would have to go to the polling booth. You should meet the Polling Officer on duty and tell them that you do not want to cast your vote to any of the candidates and he would ask you to complete certain formalities. At the time of counting, they would declare the votes each candidate has secured and would also mention the number of voters who do not want to vote for any candidate.

We can not protect India because India is a foreign country. That's a job for the Indians, you have to stop immigrating to other country and start working in your own country to better it. You have a lot of professional people in India and they rather escape India and do better in other countries. You are all thinking about yourself and not your country and that means that you are not too proud Indians. Your country should always come first, especially your poor people that doesn't have a chance to study. Good luck and You have a good one.
