well fabric softner could be a reason but maybe does not go along with the type of soap you are washing your clothes with .....also stress could be one of the first causes for this breaking out ...hormons as well ....just drink an anti alergic ....as Zyrtec 10mg one tablet a day for a month and if it continues jsut go to the doctor ....zyrtec does not make you sleep and it does not affect you one bet.....also if you are on a place that it is humid then try to wear only cotton clothes

well it sounds like you know where to start looking for an answer. try changing back to the other fabric softner or get a non-allergenic fabric softner

if its not that it may be a food allergy. I know my mom started getting food allergies in her 40s too.

Try leaving off the fabric softner, or look for color, perfume, and dye free products. Also, the detergent should be perfume free. Hope this helps.

if it comes and goes then it's very possible that it's an allergic reaction. The concentrated softener could very well be the cause. It could be something that is mixed in with the softener that wasn't before.

It very well could be an allergic reaction. Have you tried comparing the labels of your old softenner and the new?
