First, we answer the "humping" part. That is in no way a sexual response from a dog. Its a dominance thing. I have 2 females and one will hump the other just to show who's boss. If she's humping you, or your guests, remove her and give her a correction. The best correction for behaviour like this is to ignore her. Just turn your back and walk away, don't over-react or give it too much attention as this will only serve to show her that if she wants you to play "come and get me" that humping is all thats needed. It should sink in pretty quickly for her that "humping means I get nothing". I'd say if you do it consistantly, the problem should be resolved in a week or two depending on how many correctios you give her.
As far as the odor goes. There could be many sources. Are her ears clean? They can get infected easily and boy does that smell bad. Even just dirty ears can make an odor-riffic dog. You may just be smelling the natural oils that dogs have to "waterproof" their fur. Thats just normal "doggie" smell. If you are bathing her a lot, you may actually be worsening the situation. If you keep stripping off the oils, her body is going to work over time to make her fur waterproof again. If you are noticing the smell after she comes in from the cold or after she is wet, this is probably the case, its just the lanolin in her skin that you smell. Try using a mixture of half baby powder (the cornstarch kind, if you can) and straight cornstarch, and rubbing it all over her, rub it in real good, let it sit a few minutes, about 5 does it here, and then brush it out. That generally takes away doggy BO pretty well without aggrevating the oil production cycle. Also, try not to use any type of medicated shampoos on her, that dries their skin out and once again causes excess oil. Dogs that live indoors typically should only be bathed 4 to 6 times a year. (unless they get into something really smelly). You may also want to check her teeth and make sure theres nothing stuck in her mouth. Decaying food or a bit of something caught in her gums could be your problem too. You should accustom yourself to checking her over from tip to tail at least once a week, this can make sure you catch any problem early when vet bills can be smaller. The longer the problem goes, the bigger the vet bills, in my experience.
Hope this helps.

She just loves you. My female Chihuahua humps my arms all the time when I play with her on the floor. She doesn't do that to guests or anybody else but me. I allow the short lived dominance from her because she otherwise acknowledges that I am the Alpha Male. I get a kick out of it because she is really so feminine. If she were a full size dog I would definitely discourage it. I will tell you she is the most obedient, loving, loyal and outrageously funny dog I've ever had.....and extremely protective over me. Put some fun into your life and get a Chihuahua, folks. You won't regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Sometimes dogs "hump" as a display of dominance. You might have to reprimand her and reestablish your role as the dominant one. Try telling her "NO", push her down and use your open hand to push and hold her nose down towards the floor for a minute. I have a relative that trains dogs and she says this is a good humane method to use. Also the smell might be from her anal glands, some dogs occasionally need to have fluid expressed from these. You should contact your vet about this, he or she can do it for you and show you how to do it at home if it happens again.

I have 2 females, both spayed of course. And they both hump, it's just what they do lol I don't think there is anyway you can stop them from doing it. My make dog that I used to have he was neutered and he humped.
I'm not sure why some people say that spaying or neutering a dog will make them stop humping, because it hasn't worked for my dogs yet lol

LOL. I have a female Airedale and a male Beagle, both fixed and they try to hump all the time. The Beagle has no idea what to do, he tries to hump her head, her stomach, her back, anywhere he can try, he does. I wouldn't worry about it, you know she can't reproduce. But that doesn't mean she can't be horny.
Just like women who cannot have children anymore, they still hump :)
