When it's obvious that one is into you, but doesn't make a move. Personally, I'd rather be unapproachable. It's so much more fun to shoot guys down than date them.

There are guys out there who play the numbers game and flirt and approach every female they come in contact with. If you don't give a hint to a shyer guy that you like, you are going to end up with a player who could care less if you or the next 10 girls he approaches shuts him down. And then he is going to treat you like used Kleenex. And go on to the next.
If you think you are being a little aloof, you probably are. Really, all we need is some tiny hint. You don't need to change your whole personality, just find a guy you like and make yourself approachable to him.
