The better question is what brand ISN'T the best for men.
There are only a couple of dedicated womens brands, one being Terry, that are primarily designed for women.
Most other brands have models engineered for both men and women.

A lot of it is subjective. Lance Armstrong used a Trek, but it was not something you could buy off the shelf. Still, they are fine bikes.

No such thing as best. It's what's best for you. The kind of riding you do, and what you can afford. But I'd try to avoid anything from Walmart, K-Mart, Target...

can't tell you just have to borrow friends bikes and find one that you like best and research the brand, prices(that will tell you a lot) and how other people have rated the bike.

brand doesnt matter as long as it is comfortable to u.
look fore norco, kona, trec, cannondale, ironhorse, haro, giant,gt,rocky moutain, specialized. avoid dimond back and supercycle.
don't ever buy a bike from places like walmart or canadain tyre cuz they r crap.
