Yes because of deforestation we are losing the agricultural cover what we have to safegaurd our earth as the forest are there it will absorb the excess corbondioxide in the atmosphere as the trees will inhale corbondioxide during day time also the trees prevent soil erosion while there was a flood in because the soil will be gripped in the trees and other areas.
