Oxycontin,is good, but can be addictive if abused and not taken under the supervision of a physician. I don't use Oxycontin, but have heard from a few people, that this is time released and very effective all day in easing your pain. Too much asprin or ibrofen are pretty irritating to the stomach. And it sounds like the pain that you have ,needs more help than what you're using.
Check with your doctor and good luck!! Hope your pain gets better.. .

There are other drugs that may work better for you, but require a doctor's prescription.
Find a rheumatologist and ask about gabapentin (Neurontin) or pregabalin (Lyrica). Many people with fibromyalgia benefit from corticosteroids, like prednisone.
You'll want to avoid narcotics, because of the many side effects associated with those drugs.

Have you tried acupuncture to ease the pain? I'm serious. It works. If you're in the UK you can get acupuncture on the NHS.
