Even if he has paid his debt to society and has "found jesus"?

I need to clarify. This is only a question. I am not looking for advice. Besides, my kids are grown.

absolutely not. they are never cured. it is also illegal for them to have contact with children ever again. they can't even hand out halloween candy on halloween. we had several arrested in our state because they had their porch lights on so kids would stop on halloween.

The answer to that question would be H3LL NO! That's just like when people say that an alcoholic is always an alcoholic no matter how many years they have gone without a drink. There is always a chance that they can slip back into their old ways. And For me and my children that chance is huge when it comes to the welfare and safety of my children. There is no way that I would let a convicted child molestor babysit my children. I wouldn't even let an individual that was just accused... It's too much to risk when it comes to a child. Something like that affects them for life.

I would absolutely NEVER under any circumstances allow someone that has hurt a child anywhere near my child!! It doesn't matter that they've "paid their debt & found Jesus". Let me tell you that our son was raped when he was 5yrs old. If I had known then what I found out later, I could have prevented it. There is an enormous amount of guilt here. Parents you are responsible for protecting your children from the creeps in this world, so if you know that a threat exists you have to take any appropriate action necessary to protect your child.

Yes. And I would let a convicted murderer hand me a towel when I got out of the shower, and I would let a convicted thief go get money for me from my ATM and I would let a convicted DWI person drive a schoolbus. DUHHHH.... This is a dumb question that needs no answer.

Just because he went to prison doesn't mean he paid his debt to all society and well how many people in prison don't find Jesus. They have to do something while they are there so they find him, they get out and forget who he is so many months later. To answer your question, Heck no I would NEVER let a low life scum bag like that babysit my children. It's a proven fact that a pedophile can not be "cured" so why would I put my children in harms way. That's just stupid and would make me the world's worst mother. I just hope and pray that no one else allows it and if they do I hope and pray nothing happens to their child.

Ya know we just had a woman down by me dating a convicted child molester and she had I think 3 kids, a little boy and I think 2 little girls. Well at first she had no clue the guy was a child molester but then her sons principle notified her and told her his picture was on the sex offender registry here in MD and apparently she did not care because she stayed with him and she said he was good with the kids and loved jesus and all this other crap but you know where her son is now?? He is dead.

The child molester whom she was with for about 2 years who was great with her kids and loved jesus killed her son while she was out and you want to know what happened to mommy dearest? She is now being charged for letting a convicted sex offender take care of her kids and be around them and I honestly do not feel the least bit sorry for her.

How stupid and cold hearted do you have to be to let a sex offender near your children? A sex offender does not change, it is a proven fact. More then half the sex offenders who get out of prison go on to do what they did again within a year of release and most the time in the second offence they end up killing the victim.

I can tell you right now if you leave your child with a sex offender and it gets back to the police you are going to be in a lot of trouble and so is that sex offender. They may even throw his *** back in jail. If you are willing to risk your child getting hurt then you have no business being a parent, you are their to protect them not feed them to a hungry predator.

My dads brother is a sef offender, he molested a 5 year old girl 14 years ago and then 5 years ago he had sex with a 15 year old girl and knocked her up and he was 42 at the time and now he has two little kids. He lost custody of the kids due to a drug charge and the mother vanished so her mother has custody of the kids and it sickens me to know that those kids were with him for so long and god knows what he did to them. His first child was just 6 months old when he got ahold of drugs and overdosed, he was rushed to the hospital where the mother left not knowing if he was going to live or die because she new they were going to test her for drugs and the test would come back positive and she would go to jail.

Those kids have went threw a lot in life and they are only 2 and 5, they have a child molester and drug addict for a dad and a mental case mother who was just 15 when she had one and neither should be allowed near children. It pains me to see these two kids and how they are growing up , sometimes I wish DCF would just step in nd take them and I am very surprised they have not I mean they can go to Britney Spears house for her child falling but when a kid overdoses they ignore it, just goes to show you how pathetic DCF is and how they just use celebrities for a way to make them look good and look like they actually do their job.

No. Many people who have been "born again" and have "found jesus" or any other religion still have profound sexual disorders that they try to suppress.

Suppressing your desires will fail. If the desire is there it will be demonstrated and child sex offenders have proven that statistically. The action will go where the thinking has lead. They are thinking it even if they are smiling and reading the bible. Being attracted to children is not something that any one can overcome.

No, I wouldn't. No matter how much they say they are "reformed", there is still the chance they may molest again and I, for one, would not want to take the chance that it may be my child. I understand that some people feel that other people need to have second chances in life, but that is one thing that I would never give a second chance too. Your children come before second chances to ANYONE especially child molesters!!

No, child molestors can't be cured. Even if they believe they can control themselves, they never stop having urges. Which to me means that my child is always in danger around anyone who's ever molested a child.

NO! This may be dated and not PC but in my opinion once a Molester always a molester.That is not a debt that can be repaid ever.As for finding Jesus I don't care if God himself said You are healed. I would shoot the bastard before he got with in 200 feet of my kids.
