There are meds like flexiril that will help with spasms. Also ice 20 on 20 off. Some people like heat. Remedy is to stop what activity you are doing that causes them.

Ice, Ice, and more ice. Also a bag of peas works like a charm. I have suffered with muscle spasms most of my life and cold has been the only thing to help it calm down. You can try a hot shower and let it beat down on the area first and then ice it.

A hot tub is great... But we don´t have a tub so I use a big, tall bucket just for my legs and feet with hot water and a bunch of salt. Of course it doesn´t reach all the body but it kind of pulls the pain away ... Personally, I can´t live without my muscle relaxer pills as I ride a bike to work and back ... a couple of Aspirins do the trick if I´m out of them. And take it easy girl! Work it up slow, not all at once ...

You dont say where you have the spasms but there is a drug called anti-spasmodics that could help.

Ask your doc for some advice.

for temporary relief take a table spoon of regular mustard

muscle spasms can be a symptom of very dangerous diseases, go to the doctor

I've heard that walking can be very beneficial for this problem....also maybe a dietary supplement. Ask the doc.

thanks for asking that question speedy i have a problem with my lung and hospital said my lung goes into muscle spasm and boy it kills when it happens and for about 2 weeks after, sum of your answers have help me too thanks xx
