my project is on diet pills and supplements. i've looked everywhere but i can't find the answer. how old do you have to be to buy diet supplements? do you need an i.d.? is it different in each state?

If you're even asking this question you need to speak to a doctor before starting ANY diet....These medcications & supplements are often nothing more than SPEED! I know from experience.

In most states you don't have to be any particular age to buy Diet pills (if they are the over the counter kind).
But save your money, If you are looking for the ingredients for a class project, Google or yahoo the brand names. Most companies have theri lists of ingredients online.
Start with a Diet pills seach then pick brand names you know.
