Truth and Love do walk hand in hand. The need would/could never be to large for God to fulfill. I would never want to learn to live a lie. And there is no way that my Faith is going to be shattered, with the misconception that God is not real. Thanks for the thought provoking questions. God bless

Yes 99% of all christians are in love with a lie.
Mr 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Mr 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Mr 7:13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.
Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Well, it's not quite as soul searching as the loss of religion... but I still love Santa Claus and he's a lie. I just love the idea of someone who wants to bring happiness to children. And I love that parents sneak toys to their children. So I think you can love the spirit in which you were lied to. What about a father who lies to his children about how hard he works.

I lived through it.

Actually it was a good thing. I realized that religion was just a judgmental lie about a God who actually loved us unconditionally.

Love and blessings Don

Yes, it is a question of survival. parents teach us to submit to might. Now might is right. we all live in borrowed times. What boss says, yes sir. What husband says, yes sir. We have become dogs. yet we love life. Means we love to be dogs.
