What does it mean if you're told you have floppy gums? Is this a bad thing?
Last time I was at my dentist, an assistant told me my mouth was fine, but I had floppy gums, but she thinks it's just because my mouth came out of braces just a month ago after having them on for three years. That said, am I in danger of anything?

What does floppy gums mean? I'm seeing the dentist tomorrow for some cavities anyway, and he didnt see anything wrong with my mouth other than the cavities.

when your teeth have moved the gums become sort of out of place. but they do settle. if the dentist saw only cavties wrong then i wouldn,t worry about it but if your still worried go and see your dentist again.
