Are spiritualist mediums able to speak with the dead, or they feeding off peoples fear of death? Is continuation of the spirit plausible?

It's hard to say, but both Theist and Atheists like to rally around this one as nay sayers for some reason!
If the birth of the universe can leave a cosmic footprint in the form of gamma rays, if the death of a star can leave a cosmic footprint, all of which can be observed, who is to say a human birth or death doesn't leave a mark on the universe that can be measured or observed in some manner.
To say otherwise is to close your mind and leave yourself open to criticism on the date someone can actually measure it and identify it.
If I'm not mistaken Kirillian photography still shows an impression of an entire leaf after the leaf has been cut and photographed in the process. Why is that?
That leaves open a possiblity a footprint exists.

spiritualist are people who believe their is a soul and a godlike spirit to us ,whoever said that spiritualist are evil and thats why they are called spiritualist does not know what the word means .
contintuation of the soul is throughout the bible and all religions it is what Jesus taught from the resurection ,remember he also told us we can do all that he does and more .
how then did all the prophets and all the "religous "people get their "heavenly messages "????
just because someone does not experince first hand some of the paranormal aspects of life does not mean it is all lies ,,,,this is the very reason so many take offense to certain religions ,we are suppose to believe in some eternal place where a loving God throws us into hell ????rapture ????are these not feeding off peoples fears ?????same thing ..................

Im a spiritualist, and I dont think u can literally speak to the dead.
And yes the continuation of the spirit is very much plausible, because we as humans need to pay for the things weve done on earth and those of which we never got punished for,and we need to be rewarded for things no one rewarded us for.
Makes full sense to me.

they do not feed of peoples fear. go to any church and listen to one of these mediums. when they get a message its the minute details of someones life that means that they can only be contacting that dead person. these churches only ask for a small donation when they put a collection basket around to keep the church going. they are not offended if you do not put anything in it though. Unless youve actually seen a spiritualist medium you cant comment really. dont believe what you see on tv

No, you can't contact the dead, the 'spirits' that are coming through are in fact demons who are trying (and doing quite well apparantly) to lead vulnerable people astray. It is forbidden to try to contact the dead, for our own good.
It's the sort of thing I did before I knew Jesus personally, now I have nothing to do with that stuff.

fiction. clever people preying on the simple minded and gullible.
there is a one million dollar reward from an American conjurer up for grabs for anyone who can demonstrate any type of paranormal activity. mediums etc get out of this one by saying that they are not given this gift for reward, but they still charge for readings
