Phosphate rock Ca3(PO4)2 is converted into monocalcium orhtophosphate, Ca(H2PO4)2 by reaction with sulfuric acid in the fertilizer industries . Ca(H2PO4)2 is actually an "acidic" salt capable of donating its H+ ions to a base. It does NOT grow on a tree, come from ground or any animal! Note: Phosphate rock (Ca3(PO4)2) comes from ground, though!
