Wouldn't it be fun if the women of the world could show all Moslem men what they really think about their "beliefs."

Ladies if you need my help, all you have to do is ask! ☺☺☺

Actually, you're wrong. I CAN deny it because this is so wrong. It has nothing to do with Islam, it's a cultural thing in a lot of cultures such as Arabs, Indians and Pakistanis (and yes, I know those countries are Muslim countries.) I am married and my husband has never said that to me, nor will I ever let him say that to me! The truth of the matter is, men and women have different roles in life, not that anyone is higher in rank or better, we're all equal.

This is getting so old....everyone can see you where never a Muslim...give up trying to say you where. The only common saying about women i know is " your wife is your prize treat her like gold" and that's exactly how my husband treats me. And how all his brothers treat there wife's his friends too. And if you ever where a "MUSLIM" you would know that.
Ashamed ??? never, of what. You may be an atheist of that i have no doubt but a Muslim.......your fooling no one.Your a joke, give it up. Why would i be ashamed cause your posing as a Muslim? Get a clue and a life.
iknowrut........you obviously no nothing of Islam either...lol. Its called "a delegated divorce" and its not from saying it 3 times. Either party may take step to divorce. The first time they say it is a pronouncement which gives both sides a time to think and reflect if this is what they really want. If they fail to reconcile within this time then its declared a second time etc etc etc.. you get the drift. If still both parties don't want to reconcile then they divorce. But Divorce in Islam is the worst thing you can do and not very common. So if what your suggesting is ridiculous a bit like you .....

Western men used to think that way too! Women were chattle until recent times. Starting around the 1920s.

In the US Constitution Women, Children, Black Slaves and Indians were defined as "other persons" and computed on a lesser scale for assignment of representatives.

It was common for a widow woman with property to find another husband to run it for her.

Women couldn't get their own credit cards or bank loans as recently as 1970.

In the 1950s if they found out a woman in Medical School had ambitions other than that of Pediatrician she was ousted from most schools.

If a woman is such a "prize" as sen has alleged, why can a male Muslim divorce his wife by uttering the phrase "I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you" three times. How many Muslim women are taken to the two count whenever they disagree with their loving husband?

I am not Muslim... and my body belongs only to the man I love and same way he belongs to me :-) ... I don't wish to cheat him..... and in this meaning I accept it.... but I am not his "property".... it is mutual and I belong to him because I love him and not because he controls me somehow.... we have trust in each other..... if a man wants to control his wife by force then this is not acceptable.....
This is what I think about this, no matter if a man is Muslim or not.....

I would think a any women would respond either with

1.) Yes, and my husband is my property he belongs to me.

or

2.) I belong to God but, if you are very good to me he may lend me to you for a short while, in time I will be return to God.

LOL! good one. So original....not.
My husband doesn't think that way at all and neither do any of his friends. In fact I don't know anyone that thinks that way. If you were actually a Muslim you'd be smarter than what you are. ;o)
