When gay groups have cried loud enough, their (sexual) dometic partners were granted healthcare benefits, as if they were married (laugh). Now if my mother is living in the same home, under the same roof, why can't I claim her on my insurance? She is relation to me by blood. Perhaps if I claim incest type of relationship it will work for her getting insurance. Give me your thoughts. Thank you

You would have to have your mother declared a dependant in order to access health care insurance. I don't know what country that you live in but in the USA there is medacaid and if you live in Canada all her services would be covered anyway.

We should all be grateful for anyone who is able to get insurance regardless of who it is but I feel your point. Try claiming your mother as a dependent on your tax's and simply add her to your policy. If you are unable to add her to your policy try going to the health department and getting her care or for some direction. Health departments have gotten a lot better over the past few years. God Bless
