Yes, especially if you burn and have blisters. They can scar. You open yourself up to the risk of skin cancer. And as you have read, it can turn your skin leathery. Not good.

Yes. I was using the sunbeds for 8 years and my skin is very damaged. If i wanna be dark now i go to the beach for a couple of hours with the super good sun lotion.

Yes they are! I hate to say, because I used to love it! It's a myth that the rays won't hurt you. Ask any dermatologist! My friend got skin cancer from years of using the tanning bed. Not to mention it turns your skin into leather over time.

Absolutely. Aside from the leathery skin and skin cancer (like that wasn't bad enough), you can also get age spots, wrinkles, and dry skin.
In fact, age spots (also known as dark spots or liver spots) are one of the earliest signs of photodamaged skin.
