Try items from the clean & clear product line. They are very gentel and effective. My daughter has very sensitive skin and has been using the fresh burst cleanser for a while and never gets any acne. They also have moisturiser, and toner and a bunch of other stuff. Make sure you take the time to read the package before you buy to find the stuff that's right for your needs.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Remember, some things don't work for everybody. I have suffered from acne for almost 10 years. I've tried proactive, Dr. Murad, Mario Badescu, and everything you can get at your local drug store. Nothing worked for me until I discovered

www.acne.org

The "regimine" products on it are completely non profit and all proceeds go to acne research. The creator and long time acne sufferer, Dan Kern, tried the above listed products as well as prescription ones before inventing a cure himself. The site is also filled with other good advice. It's what finally gave me some control over my acne. Good luck!

Try the Peter Thomas Roth line. I buy from Sephora, but you can also get his line at Bath and Body Works. It's VERY expensive (fash wash is $35 and face pads are $40) but it works so well! I don't really get pimples, but I do have blackheads. Not after using this stuff. Trust me, I've tried EVERYTHING out there and nothing works like this. It doesn't just work, it gets rid of everything! I had the same problem you did...acne and dry skin. This stuff works. If you can't afford both, get the face pads at least. They are his "Max Complextion" pads. They target everything and everything is oil free and alcohol free. Good luck!

We all have different skins and different problems. I won't say which product you should use or not use, because in my experience something works for 1 person but doesn't for another.

I wrote 3 articles about how you can help your skin without any product at all, but you should know that if you chose to try my techniques you really must stick to them and do it every day for at least 1 month, but you will be surprised how well it works.

Why it works? Because with this techniques you help your own body / skin to rejuvenate in it's natural way - no products needed. But if you do use a product this will help you enhance the effectivness.

My 2 cent --- check sources bellow for link to my articles. Cheers!

To treat dry skin, you splash your face 3 times with warm water, (not to hot) then you splash your face with cold water 3 times. Then you can buy nutregena from any store to help acne, or buy clean and clear to also help the acne.

try the 3-steps regime religiously. wash, tone, moisturise,

use water based moisturiser. product by biotherm work like magic but they are a bit pricier. the more affordable variance that work is product range by simple. it works wonderfully too.
