Alcohol itself doesn't have calories, but your body burns it like it is, so while your body's burning alcohol, it's not burning calories. So keep that in mind. The more alcohol you have in your system, the less calories you're burning.
As far as "fattening" I would say mixed drinks that are really sweet, or creamy. You'll find them mostly in mixed drinks because they often contain "liqueurs" which are sweetened flavored alcoholic liquids.
Straight alcohol, like vodka, gin, whiskey, rum doesn't contain any calories. Flavored varieties might, though.
Beer and wine can have a medium amount of calories. Light beer will significantly less, especially the ultra light beers. Red wine is less sweet than white wine, and red wine is kind of healthy for you. Ultra-light beer or red wine are both really good options when you're trying to drink on a diet.
You can also mix a straight liquor with a diet beverage.
I would recommend ultra-light beer or red wine, though, because they taste good and you're probably going to want a little bit of calories to make the drink more enjoyable. Straight liquor and diet soda isn't very tasty, especially if you don't like the taste of alcohol.

Most liquors are fat free. Exceptions would be creamy liqueurs like Bailey's or Kahlua. The big 6 - Vodka, Gin, Rum, Scotch, Whiskey, Tequila, and their friends are usually fat free.
However, they may not be calorie or carb free. Especially once you mix them with something.
A pina colada is loaded with fat, but it's from the mixers, not the Rum.
This question is asked on here quite regularly. In the future, you might want to use the search box above to avoid wasting points and getting loaded up with bad answers.

There are very few alcoholic drinks that contain fat at all. Beers are calorie dense. Wines are pretty calorie dense too. Hard liquor is generally low in calories, but you mix high calorie juices and sodas with them.

Think you meant "fattening". Spirits with a low cal mixer tend to be the least fattening. I drink vodka and diet coke. Wine and beer tend to have a lot more calories.

A shot (50ml or 1.5 ounces) of any spirit has approx. 65 calories. They come from the alcohol. The rest of all calories 9and they may be as many as 300 or 400) may come from the mixer you use - Coke, orange juice, etc. So the real problem is ... the mixer, not the alcohol.

Gin is actually one of least fattening drinks, especially if you mix it with tonic. Another kind of light one is the Spanish Tinto de Verano (Summer Red Wine) with lemon, which in the last years has become very fashionable: 3 parts of red wine (avoid cheapies, it really makes a difference) with lemon drink (lemon juice also works), and lots of ice. Very refreshing.
Hope that helps! :)

It depends upon the quantity you drink. A pint of rum is more fattening than a pint of beer but is less fattening than ten pints of beer. Gin and tonic is more fattening than just a shot of neat gin without the tonic.

Most spirits aren't fattening. Vodka or dry gin is probably your best shot. Definitely stay away from fermented, brewed, and malt beverages though! (specially beer!)
cheers.
