How can I determine the manufacturer and color of wall-to-wall carpeting if I have a stamp on an excess piece?

How can I determine the precise manufacturer and color of wall-to-wall carpeting if I have stamped numbers and letters on the reverse side of an excess piece? I want to order more but the distributor we purchased from is out of business.

As a suggestion, try another distributor, or go on line and try some of the carpet companies. Maybe one or the other will recognize the numbers. If you contact the manufacturers, it may well be that one of them made the carpet, as they provide for several different distributors. Best of luck.
