The real meaning of yoga is to unite. We are uniting with something higher. We are uniting with a higher purpose, a higher standard, a higher intelligence, a higher self.

Following real yoga seeks out the ultimate constitutional nature of every atom in the body. The eternal constitutional nature is the ultimate source of life, youth, consciousness and knowledge. Therefore, the practice of yoga naturally stimulates bodily health.

We can practice yoga simply through conversation, studies in school and work. The yoga of stretching and asanas is good for the natural health purposes and helps one to focus in meditation. However, you must check with your physician before doing stretching exercise.

The Yoga of work is karma yoga. Karma yoga advances to jnana yoga which is the state or realizing metaphysical knowledge. Eventually one rises to the level of Bhakti Yoga which is the highest.

Bhakti Yoga is the most spiritual aspect of yoga. It essentially involves sravanam, kirtanam, krsna katha, bhajana and mantra meditation.
