The usual reasons as to why anyone speaks ill of someone or group of someones
They are either ignorant, insecure or have an agenda.
Still, it is their opinion. And everyone has a right to their opinion.
Their opinion is developed from a level of their own experience.
When you hear an opinion that you know is wrong, offer the correct information.
If the person is willing to change their mind then you know it was just their ignorance.
If you get called names, then you know that they are insecure.
If you get a talking point then you know they have an agenda.

They usually are against that religion but instead of just keeping their dislike to themselves, they prefer to spread the hatred and make sure more people hate that religion. The poor ones have no inner peace at all.

To give more meaning to their own. If one can talk about what is wrong with the other then that makes one "more righteous." That is what they think anyway. But how wrong their are in that belief.

Define 'wrong'. many believers actually know only a small part of their professed faith, sometimes outsiders have a much more nuanced understanding of the religion and its history.

Generally they know nothing about the religion they are attacking. People that criticise things they know little about are often shown to be fools.

How do you know its wrong Religions, its only the right Religion if you believe in it, and only wrong if you don't, so every one that says' what they say, is correct to them because they believe it to be,so you cant go saying they are spreading what is wrong, its only wrong to you because you don't believe in their chosen Religion.

to make ppl hate that religion and avoid it,we face that problem with islam,some say we worship the prophet mohammad(PBUH) while he is just a messanger of God,other say we worship black stone while we just kiss it,and so on many lies and no one has proof
