The original sin was disobeying God, and eating the frruit of the tree of knowledge. What type of fruit it was, is not important, and nowhere does it say an apple.
God's Word doesn't give the geneologoies of everyone, just those whom God wants us to know about. .
Jesus was God in the flesh, and He came to die for the sins of all of us.
Adam and Eve disobeying God in the Garden of Eden opened the door to satan interacting with the human race.
We are what we make of ourselves, and the decisions we make.
Twins mean nothing.

dear member, you have actually asked quite a few questions here and it would take too much time and space to answer them all so I will give answer to the one about original sin,if you dont mind.
remember it was lucifer who commited the first sin and not mankind, this is very important because God as Creator had the absolute right to be obeyed by His creatures, lucifer at some point rebelled against God`s authority and majesty, and Pride enslaved him , having realised the awful consequence of his rebellion and because as an Angel possessing complete knowledge of the enormitiy of his actions, and that he could not therefore go back on his rebellious decision decided literally to take as many other Angels and ourselves from God`s service and be like himself a renegade.
in the Genesis story of the fall of mankind we should be able to see in the story this same rebellion to the will of God and this is what the early writers tried to convey albeit in terms of human understanding.
this is the kernel of the story and Adam and Eve commited the same sin of pride as lucifer did, but because they(we) do not possess the higher intellect of the Angelic beings and therefore could not fully realize the enormous offence to God He immediatley had mercy and revealed His plan to save us.
now there had to have been an auctual offence by man to God or the whole thing would make no sense,so indeed there had to have been real poeple involved at the beginning.
the name Adam simply means man,and Eve means Mother of all, so the story conveys an actual real event that took place, it`s really the outcome that is the reality here, and we will continue the debate of this story for a very long time I suspect but we need to accept the true nucleus of it.
personally I am okay with the story in itself because I understand the reality it contains.

I'm not one who you want an answer from but I have this answer for you.
Original sin may be taken to mean: (1) the sin that Adam committed; (2) a consequence of this first sin, the hereditary stain with which we are born on account of our origin or descent from Adam.
From the earliest times the latter sense of the word was more common, as may be seen by St. Augustine's statement: "the deliberate sin of the first man is the cause of original sin" (De nupt. et concup., II, xxvi, 43). It is the hereditary stain that is dealt with here. As to the sin of Adam we have not to examine the circumstances in which it was committed nor make the exegesis of the third chapter of Genesis.

Original sin was the division of image into material beings. That division created an illusion of difference or uniqueness or trespass or SIN which made Life possible! Now certainly we don't want runaway sin in our world especially grave sin because our lives would be over from massive destruction and such, but difference, a subtleness building block builds into potentials of more difference and left unchecked could eventually destroy our lives. But difference in and of itself is the reason why we exist!? Share your difference ...For give it, empathize it, sympathize it, and affirm it. This can be a better life!

The origanal sin was not trusting in Gods word , They disobeyed His Word , The same as what Christians do today by not trusting in What he says and using our own understanding , Comparing two names like Jacob and Esau is the way God shows us Sin ....Jacob I Loved, Esau I hated ....God Hates what came out of Esau not him himself ,

violation of what GOD told Adam and Eve not to do. in my opinion the violating of GOD'S instructions was the original sin not the actual eating of the forbidden fruit which was secondary.

Pride is the Mother of all sin. Satan got thrown out of Heaven because of his pride. He wanted to take over God's position, because he "wanted to become God."
This is what he tempted Eve with as well. "You will become just like God." It was not wrong of Eve to want to be like God. To become more like God is humanity's highest goal. It is what we are supposed to do. But Satan misled Eve concerning the right way to accomplish this goal. He told her that she could become more like God by defying God's authority, by taking God's place and deciding for herself what was best for her life in effect, he told her to become HER OWN GOD.
So in answer to your question, the original sin was Eve giving in to her pride and disobeying God. The actual "fruit" could be figurative. The original sin was "pride."
