Free will is just a lousy excuse everybody use.
If there was true free will, then let me join other religions and go to Heaven too.
Free will is a sign of God's incompetence to control his very creations.

Actually, it isn't God's will that this woman gets pregnant, which is why there is options for birth control; the first being abstinence.
Also, for those who have been raped or have reasons to terminate a pregancy, medically, abortions seem to be the viable solution.
If a woman decides to get pregnant against the mannerism in which God intended, you cannot fault God for that. Just as he had taught Adam and Even in the beginning, he allowed them free range and yes, a free will, to obey His commands. We all know the outcome of that.
So it is the woman's responsibility (and man) when it comes to terminating life.

Would an all knowing God let a child be born only to grow up and hijack a plane to kill hundreds of people? We all make decisions in our lives, some of them are wrong. What if this pregnant person cannot handle a child now in her life? I know there is adoption, but what if she cannot go through with carrying a child for 9 mos to just give it up? It is about free will and freedom of choice. Have you ever regretted a choice you have made? God forgives. Period!

Good guess ! Free will is Gods gift and it is so valuable that even God will not mess with it. It is supreme in the universe.

You mean he should sterilize all people just because some will get abortions?
Or he should sterilize all people who might get abortions at birth so they won't?
Or he should sterilize them at the point of having sex so they won't have an abortion?
Interesting how people seem to expect God to babysit mankind.
He gave us a world, we screw it up, we blame God.
Kind of silly, really.
Best to consider the alternatives when posting a question such as this.

God has a plan with our lives and you are right, God gave us a will to do as we want. He will not force you to do His will. We can choose whether we are going to do His will or if we are going to follow our own heads.
Why must God help us if we don't want to live in His will????????

She has free will, and it would be her decision to keep the child or murder it by abortion.
Everything in life is about decisions.
