I have been in France many times with an expired visa. If you have a legal job, everything should work out fine. If not, the authorities are generally pretty lenient, especially when it comes to students. Your best option would be to enroll yourself at the university, even if you don't plan on studying. You will be able to work part-time legally and stay for the rest of the academic year. As it is the middle of the semester, you may have to wait until after Christmas. You could also try getting a job with a language school.

If I understand correctly, you have overstayed in France.
Probably working illegally as well. Sorry but other than
humanitarian reasons will the French Govt.consider your
application for extension of your visa. Another solution is
to join the Foreign Legion.
