Nowadays i find it hard believing the one who preach us... the so-called "the witnesses of God on Earth" because they can no longer set good examples worth following. for instances, past and present religions have killed and broke out wars in the name of God. Is still out there religions using images even though God has Prohibited all sort of idolatry no matter what... I reackon they may fear breaking this tradition because somehow it may lead to them lose their faithful followers to others religions. I mean this is not popularity contest right? It should be done what must be done to glorify The Almighty One because of his unfailing love for us. That is to say, in my view, every religions has it flaws and i can't see none of Big Religion Leaders out there bother to change it in the name of the God. Still has to come one brave enough. Instead, most of they prefer to turn a blind eye.... But meanwhile they do wars in the name of the God or something like that. Confusing is not it?

I had a similar question when I was younger. I found buddism.

I actually felt completely at peace when I went to church. Unfortunately the buddist temple is really far from where I live so I have stopped going. But it is worth checking out for sure.

Religion is the necessary social structuring of the exploration of those things man can imagine, but cannot test, nor see as repeatable events, just as philosophy is the same for things that are either testable, or repeatable, but not both, and science is for things testable AND repeatable.

Religion is a way station, a stopping place to explore plateaus along the way. They are not the end goal.

Explore, enjoy, take a break from the path, even for an entire lifetime or two. There is so much wisdom even amongst the nonsense that man has surrounded them with, but make truth more important to you than anything, and don't run from religion because of flaws.

There is no perfect circle, no matter how it is drawn.

I still use circles.

Some of us come back after reaching God. Keep walking. Some of us are walking with you, in all religions.

ALL religions are man made. Most of them have been used to preform terrible evils on it's weaker members. The church was not some theological organization when it started . It was just those who believed. Yes the Apostles lead the church but after they taught those who ere believing those believes spread out and taught others and small local church popped up all across the world. Again these Churches had no outside authority over them save Jesus Christ who was there center. So religion is evil being man made. If church is your thing find a small Bible believing church and make it your home... Jim

The name is Jesus Christ. right believing will bring about right living, so believing the right one is important. I am a Christian, but i am facing so much resistance from other Christian, because my church preaches the grace message.. But this is the message that Paul preaches in the new testament.

there is only one thing to do... Just Believe, only believe in Christ. and leave the rest to Him. we should not even be bothered about our unwavering faith.

Bible says, when we see His grace, God sees our faith.

go to www.newcreation.org.sg and subscribe to the daily free devotional or purchase the CDs. i am sure it is going to bless you greatly..

I was like you, confused and all... But now, i seems to get the whole picture... the bible has all the answers, the problem is that the self righteous man bring their own interpretation into it, especially, the self righteous christians...

During Jesus time, it was not the sinners that Jesus reprimand, the most He would say was, oh you of little faith... but to the self righteous pharasee, he dispised them. see Luke 18: 9-14.

So.. only believe and stop being self righteous, and leave the rest to God...

You are absolutely correct with your observance. The Bible tells us that you tell if a tree is bad if the fruit is also bad. You hear people talk about Jesus is in my heart yet when it comes to war guns and hatred is in their heart. They try to justify their stance as allowed yet their spritual brothers and sisters on the other side (World War II) are praying to the same god so they can kill each other.

There are few religions that profess to believe in the Bible that I know that don't go to war Mennonites, Quakers, Amish and Jehovah's Witnesses.

the perfect religion is what you want it to be. people tell you to believe in god or whatever and you're supposed to follow along. if you don't wanna believe in god or A god, then don't. i don't follow religion because it doesn't suit my needs. i like the idea of fate - things happen for a reason. if you want a perfect religion or way of thinking, perfect is in the eye of the beholder; it's your decision what you want to believe.

So are many different religions! seem at Buddhism, Hinduism, or Jainism - the only distinction is that a number of those religions do no longer intrinsically attempt to transform. faith is in my suggestions very own... i'm of a undeniable faith yet no longer a "good" believer. I appreciate the existence of "God". in spite of the undeniable fact that, while all of us dares to declare, hello, my faith is the only area which you will/would desire to stay with, i visit take them to job. on the comparable time, i do no longer flow around saying that "my faith" is best the two.

first let me know which of the religion u know completely? If u don't know about any religion completely then try to read sacred scriptures of every religion. Then u yourself come to conclusion which is the best of it. i suggest u to read holy QURAN with its complete meaning. i am sure this brings new Light in ur life. Don't just blindly follow anything.

Islam is the best religion if u know about this religion completely. Not that what western media is portraying falsely about this religion.

I believe once we define God in our terms, set up rules of worship, and prescribe any one operating manual, we lose sight of true worship and the presence of God. God is amongst us and our part of God is demanding to be released. In you is the way, the truth, and the light and have fun glorifying God.
