I think you have to look at the level of your feelings. If they evolve around the body and the sheer imagination of intimate settings, then it is enfatuation. If you like the way the other person thinks, smiles, acts, laughs, and have common interests that make you dream about that person all the time, then that's love.

Love can happen in the blink of an eye or take years to grow. I believe that you can fall in love with a person at first sight but to remain in love with them is alot harder because you slowly discover all their bad traits. true love is when you learn to accommodate for each others bad habits and actually listen to what the other person says instead of just hearing it. infatuation ends easily and even though you think it hurts compared with losing a love it is nothing. Infatuations are the lessons we learn so we can love.

I read in a book that Infatuation is when you say "We have to get married now" and love is when it takes a little time to develop.

Love survives - it fact it was never there in the first place - only infatuation. There's a hell of a difference. BTW put sexual attraction in the same boat.

If it's reciprocated it's not, infatuation simply means foolish love (because it's not reciprocated).
