I am a BBW, newly divorced, 44, 2 very young children and I would like to meet some men, late 30's- mid 40's to go out with...be it coffee,dinner,movie,bar....whatever. I need to get out once in a while. I am very down to earth,love to laugh,take care of myself and have a job that I love.

as someone else said get involved in groups for things that you may be interested in
at this point don't be in a rush to get too involved with anyone new; just look for friendships first & let things progress from there
you need to give yourself time to just be you & not ''someones" significant other
there are many different "dating sites" on the net - some directed at friendships; some more of a sexual nature
take your time ; get out with girl friends as well
check community organizations/newspapers for information about ""social groups"' directed at 40+

Go to where the good men go. Communities of faith (they are not all foaming at the mouth you know), libraries, evening classes, volunteer organizations, etc. Think where a decent man might be involved (not bars full of losers) and go there too. It will work and the men you meet will be much nicer.

Newly divorced, why would you want to rush back into men? If you need to get out every now and then that's fine, but why not go out with friends or work mates.......

U cannot hunt from them in the market. U will find them at all places which u visit normally. Try to join some social groups if u want to widen ur choice.
