If it's as bad as you mention, make sure you keep it to a length that you can be tied to the back when you can't style it.

My hair was curly and frizzy - I finally found a great hair stylist. I use Biolage deep conditioner everyday. Before I comb my wet hair I use an oil on it and then after I comb it I put some Biolage mouse in it. My hair is just past my shoulders and now I really really like it. I am a white girl and the older I get the curlier my hair gets. People are always asking me if I perm it and how they'd pay big $$ for my curls!

I don't recommend going short, unless you go really short. Think how much of a mess it is now; cutting it is just going to make the proportions look weird. You would have big frizzy hair and short hair. I suggest to get your hair "thinned". It will help give the appearance of less frizzy hair. IF you do decide to get it cut short, don't let then use a razor blade. It will make your frizz up ten times more than it is right now. GOOD LUCK!

Try getting it trimmed to get rid of some of the damage. Also try getting it just slightly layered towards the ends just to give it some shape. Try to keep the length for now that way you can wear it up. I like using Biolage shampoo for color treated hair (even if your hair isn't color treated it has extra stuff in it to protect and moisturize your hair) and All Soft conditioner by Redken. This conditioner is great it has avocado oil in it. Your hair will be really healthy in no time. Just do these things and keep it trimmed regularly (every 4 to 6 weeks) and your hair will be in good shape and you can do whatever you want with it. If you cut it really short now while it's damaged you'll have and even bigger mess and you'll be miserable. Get it healthy then play with it. Good luck! :)

no, because the longer your hair is the more the weight of it will help to ease the frizz. after shampooing, use a conditioner. while you still have your wet hair wrapped in a towell, get your make up on, and your clothes. then wrap a dry towell around your shoulders to protect your clothing, and comb your hair out with either your fingers, or a wide toothed comb. apply gel or mousse, and put in it the style you want. many people pay big bucks to get the spiraled perm look, and you already have it. long spirally curly hair will always be in with guys, because it is so feminine. try something like frizz-ease, because gel. dries hard. let your hair grow. remember, the longer it is, the more you can do to tame it.

Go short. A big frizz mop is not a turn on to guys. But a cute little pixie do will be. I would be brave and go for it. I am a surfer and I keep my hair real short. The boys love it.

Your hair will just get frizzier if you cut it any shorter. Have you tried to straighten it? I went out and bought John Frieda's hair serum for straight hair, used a straightener and loved it.
