If a relationship need sacrifice then it will not be worth it.If you need to give up something i think it must be willingly and not as a sacrifice for the relationship to work.
If it's a sacrifice then sooner or later it will crop up in a relationship and might even cause greater damage.

It all depends on how much you want to be in this relationship. Every relationship requires many such sacrifices, some more than others, but none is free of sacrifice.
After a while you get used to the sacrifices you make when you realize that it only brings happiness and serenity to your relationship. But if you feel the sacrifices are too much for you, just get out of the relationship before it gets more and more serious.

I disagree that you have to change "all the nature of you". Yes, a relationship sometimes takes work and some changes but it should never require you to change "who you are". I don't think a relationship like that could work for very long. Making changes for the better are good but you shouldn't have to change your basic beliefs & character for anyone.

if you are making sacrifices then I worry about the relationship. if you are both making compromises then I can understand. you need not make sacrifices that change who you are for a relationship. if you can not accept your partner as is or your partner wants to change you then its not a relationship anymore..take a step back and look at the big picture

you have to decide whether the relationship is worth the sacrifice if its love and dedication and commitment that you dont want to lose then sacrifices have to be made. we cant have it all! compromise always strengthens any relationship anyway because it promotes mutual respect.

you know what it depends:
woud you become a BETTER person after changing a lot of your old habits and/or beliefs?
if you're gonna change into something else ..you might have a nervous breakdown.

It,s not worth it, i know for sure. Why would you do that? What about the other person? Is he/she doing the same?
