Judging by the way you look now by the time you're forty you will be a real beauty. Important to enjoy each stage of your life, however you look. Keep up with moisturising though.
My changes seemed to happen overnight at the age of 50. Then downhill fast from then on in. Though I still have a twinle in my eye. Keep your soul young and you will stay 27 for ever in your heart.

I agree with janet. I just "celebrated" my 49th birthday and a few months prior to it I began to notice my body has changed. I had a very early menopause, four years ago but it is only showing recently. Apart from loss of elasticity and moisture, the biggest change is in fat distribution and that is the most scary. My waist was always 24" but has suddenly expanded to 27" but my bust and hips remain the same (at 34") and I am scared I'll end up looking like a tube!
I think the menopause is responsible for looks changing drastically and that won't happen to you for a long time yet.
I looked my best when I was 30 through to 40, so you can look forward to better things to come before they get worse!

I started to notice as I reached the end of my forties thirties my emotional side became a lot less of a strain.
Forties was the change in outlook how I saw myself and allowing the ageing process to arrive and not getting into a complete panic, my face looks lived in but not wrinkled.
My style changed more sophisticated got my hair sorted out still long but not waist length and my whole body imagine altered for the best, confident in how I was and very sure of myself.
Looking forward to the Fifties when once again there will be other change and for the better.

Most women where I'm from seem to stay pretty much the same from their late 20's through to early 40's if they're lucky. I'd say mid- to late-40's seems to be a time when people who are going to really look "old" do start to have that look.
Anything between late 20's and early 40's just qualifies as The Grown Up Years.

Depends on if you mean age related changes as in lines etc or growing up changes?! I didn't notice till looking at old photos and seeing how I looked at 18 compared to say 30 - the babyness had gone - not that I was aware of it at 18, I was slim but there was a definite roundness in my face. Now I look like a woman! I'm 38 and there's a few light lines, but I look grown up not old! so I notice it now, but I haven't changed since my late 20's, so I think thats when the main changes occur!!

I turned 50 this year and have only just noticed the odd line appearing around my eyes and mouth. I have also acquired middle-age spread despite not altering my diet, so think my metabolism must be slowing down.. How depressing!! I have now had to re-think my beauty regime and make sure that all make up is removed before I go to bed, a stronger moisturiser has been purchased (and, I have to admit, works) and more exercise taken. Generally though, I don't feel 50 and I think that if you retain a positive attitude to ageing, getting older needn't be the catastrophe you think. lol.

oh, all you young people just stop it. i'm so old i had to do some math to figure out how old i am. i'm 58, thought i was 59. the last time i got carded, i was 47 years old. i never thought about my age, never cared about it, so maybe age is just a number, or a state of mind. if you are only 27, and have noticed slight changes, maybe you just need to exercise a bit. you are a baby for heaven's sake, and not old by any stretch of the imagination. you are not old. celebrate what you have learned from life, but know you can't count yourselves as old yet. i can't even do that yet. i'm semi old, and i'm older than you. way older than you. you can be happy right now, because you can know that you are not even semi old. you go girls!

For me -Now.
I'm 15 and when I see all the other celebrity women looking good I feel that I should look perfect like they normally do.
I never used to be fascinated with a lot of fashion but when women like Beyonce, Madonna and Mariah Carey have perfect bodies and hair (sometimes) I think that I should 'keep up appearances'.
I never was like that but I do feel that I'm living someone else's life and not mine.I am so into looking good and if i feel i'm becaoming overweight i do a lot of gym and all that.
