I think the first question would be what you are looking for in terms of load capacity and spin cycle. After that, I would then look into brand. I have a Samsung J1453S that I chose firstly because of load capacity (7kg) then spin cycle (1600 rpm). Big family and I need to do quick washing.
In regards to brands, I would go for Hotpoint, Indesit or Whirlpool. Stay away from the less known brands.

I have had a Miele for the best part of 20 years and it just seems to go on forever. They may appear more expensive than your average machine, but they're built to last. Another possibility is Bosch.
