yeah, Melanin is the thing that make your hair colorful , when you have no more melanine in your body ,it means you don't have color in your hair , and that doesn't mean exactly becoming white haired it means your hair is colorless

when melanin in the skin stops then the colour of the hair may become golden or yellow but not white.
