Dragonflies, also known as mosquito hawks, are some of the insect worlds most voracious predators. Not only do the adult dragonflies hunt smaller insects such as mosquitoes, but their larvae also eat the aquatic mosquito larvae. This is also why the use of insecticides can backfire in subsequent years by also depleting the populations of mosquitoes natural predators such as dragonflies.

By eating mosquitoes.Malaria is spread by these lovely little pests,and the Dragon fly makes them part of,or most of its'regular diet.

They pinpoint where possibly harmful mosquito's are and they eat them and they don't bite us.
