Because he forgot to include a clause about being a bisexual meth addict in his marriage contract. It would have been alright otherwise.
He can't be gay, as he has been a strong advocate against gay marriage. He might be a prostitute-hiring meth addict, but he's not a hypocrite.

Because he was beguiled by evil or uncivil behavior by the world outside his parish. Consider imagination and where it takes us. Consider that we dont forgive each other all that often so as to avoid these temptations and that we constantly find ways to quench our imaging of them because the temptation is all around us. This pastor was probably not in functional control of his spirit like we would like a pastor to be because he didn't know how. I think when they get so much money and power they want to have some new kicks. It is so wrong that preachers can get so rich from it. it wouldn't be as bad if he'd just admit it instead of going with the "massage" and no drug story.

We don't know yet that he did! It's only the words of a male prostitute that said he did! You cannot prejudge a man on the word of a person with a less than impeccable background, can you?
