It's not the hypertension itself which is likely to lead to impotence so much as the cause of the hypertension (poor circulation normally caused by bad cholesterol) also leading to erectile failure.
Hypertension, left untreated, is EXTREMELY dangerous, and a high risk for stroke and heart attack.

Yes, untreated hypertension may lead to erectile dysfunction because erectile dysfunction is essentially a disease of the blood vessels.
